Hows business?  It’s the question I am asked most of nowadays and the short answer is OK. While we certainly aren’t breaking records of any kind, The Racing Room as an independent supplier has the ability to pick and choose what products are sold and so are not responsible to outsiders demanding volumes and stockholding.

While the 08/09 financial year was difficult, we have learnt some valuable lessons and are determined not to repeat them any time soon! Interestingly our biggest hurdle has been manufacturer supply and in some instances this hurt us more in the eyes of our customers than the topsy turvy pricing the nation has had to endure since the GEC acronym came to light. The end result here is that some product lines have been dropped from our webpages and we should all be better off for it. My sincere apologies to the few who did suffer delays and I hope you understood the reasons for it.

A month or so back I hinted at an all new website for the business, with more shopping cart functionality and tiered pricing for our addicted customers, amongst other things, and this remains a work in progress. Anyone who has ever dealt with building these things knows how much time and effort is involved, so please bear with us on that one. The launch is not far away!

This month our Garage Sale items have been refreshed and are available for immediate delivery. We will try to have the listing updated as items go but should something not be available, we will inform you prior to your card being processed!
