Cars & Coffee 2010 Excellent feedback for our first annual Cars & Coffee event coming up with confirmed attendance from several clubs, groups and friends alike. Although it is still a while away yet, we will be making a lunch booking at King Ludwigs Restaurant in Maleny immediately after, which will require an RSVP. Motorsport Events A couple of motorsport events are on the radar early this year with the first being the F1 in Melbourne (March) followed shortly after by the V8 Supercars in New Zealand (April). There are a few takers out there from our database, although dependant on work schedules, however if you have an interest in coming along with us, drop Dijon a line and lets take advantage of the network.

Sandys Can Cars Over the Christmas break I stumbled across this Kiwi with a real talent for recycling.  A former draughtsman and technology teacher, Sandy took to making finely detailed models from aluminium cans while recouping from a motorbike accident. The results of forty plus hours skilled labour per model and a fondness of Guinness are simply outstanding. Perhaps we should commission a Porsche 356?
