Traction Issue 1.10 |
|
|
Welcome to the latest edition of Traction and the first for 2010. Thank you to the Aussie dollar whose current strength means that the majority of products we import have new low prices which in turn gave me hours of website updating to do over the holidays. At least the beer fridge was close.
Below you'll find a few interesting links and many more on the website still. What will 2010 bring? Who knows, but for me with a broken Audi, certainly a change of pace! |
 |
Oakley Racing Division
One of our favourite brands, Oakley Racing Division are back and with plenty of new stock for 2010. An increased range of shoes, various T-shirt designs and their too cool hooded sweatshirts combine with the awesome CarbonX racing underwear. All are in stock and ready to ship so don't delay and check out the range here and in our Nomex section here. |
 |
Borla Exhausts
Our friends at Borla have expanded their range yet again coinciding with the latest new car releases. While it isn't possible for us to list all their parts and systems on our website, simply email us for options to suit your car. Not just for performance cars, Borla fabricate Concours systems for Rolls Royce, Ferrari and others. Enquire here. |

Coffee & Cars Event
On Sunday May 23 this year we are hosting the inaugural Coffee & Cars event at Roys Road in Beerwah, Queensland. This is a no cost event where you simply turn up, park your car and chat for a couple of hours with like minded people. As the name suggests a coffee tent will be set up being early in winter otherwise its a very low key event. At the property of Streamline Trim (Upholsterers), we encourage you to come up for a drive, check out some cars and make some friends. A booking will be made for lunch at King Ludwigs Restaurant a few miles up the range which will require a RSVP. Contact Dijon for more. And if you happen to be in the coffee business give me a call. |

Molecule Labs
Its back! Our favourite Nomex care product is back on the shelf. Molecule Labs produce the only effective product for cleaning and maintaining fire retardancy in your Nomex race gear. Lab tests prove why this stuff is used by all Formula One teams, INDY teams, WRC etc etc, you name it, they use it. Again because of the current exchange rates, Molecule has never been cheaper. |

Facebook
We have Friends and Fans. Our Facebook page is growing ever popular and has quickly become a way for us to communicate with our friends in a more relaxed way. Reluctant at first, we have now come around to the ways of the social network and we hope you'll join us. Check out our pages here. |
 |
Driver Safety Equipment
Just added to the DSE section are the new releases from Escort and Bel for distribution in Australia. If any of you had a run in with the law while out for a drive this past holiday season, you might well want to take a look here. As the enforcers get sneakier, technology advances. |

Fast Mustard Car Covers
Our new cover manufacturer has impressed us with lead times of only ten days on average, and so is sure to continue to be a favourite of ours. View the options here and protect your weekend joy. A large range of colours are available and thousands of vehicle patterns to suit. Fast Mustards got you covered they say. |
