It’s about this time of the year when accountants and business owners, begin their crusade to determine how successful the previous year has been in order to make necessary changes and thereby ensuring a profitable financial year. This business and the auto business in general welcomes this introduction to the new season with modifications designed to enhance performance, decrease costs and have a thorough shakeup of the workings of its team.

During this and next month, The Racing Room will go through it’s own transformation with the culling of slow moving products and the introduction of new brands to give us that extra boost through to the end of the financial year. With another calendar year under our belts and lessons learnt with effects of the world meltdown recently, there is certainly not a more appropriate time to do so.

At first glance the changes may seem minor with a re-jigging of the website and its categories but behind the scenes more emphasis will be placed on streamlining supplier chains and their efficiency. It is hoped that the latter will enable us to keep costs to where they have been during 2008 rather than spring a 25 percent price hike on you!

2009 welcomes Borla, Swissvax, and Motul to the start line and we’ll be placing a strong emphasis on safety and protection this year also. So welcome back to The Racing Room, put your feet up and enjoy your shopping. And just for the record, ’08 was far better than ’07!
